The target audience for our project comprises older individuals who play a vital role in providing childcare facilities to families, particularly during times of a cost-of-living crisis. These older caregivers, often grandparents, offer crucial support to families by taking care of their grandchildren, helping alleviate childcare costs, and easing the financial burden on parents.
There will be warm drinks and cakes for members to have and will also be provided with a winter pack which consists of:
- size 6-11 pair of socks
- fleece scarf
- thermal gloves
- thermal hat
- 120x150cm fleece blanket
- travel mug
- hot water bottle with fleece cover
and will be given to all attending (100 packs available)
