Approved Beach Operators

Those approved are members, and have signed up and adhere to The Caswell Bay Water and Coast Activity Operators Charter. The charter is a commitment that all beach operators using Caswell Bay will adhere to a set of conditions that will ensure the sustainable use of the bay, authorised and safe delivery of activity and acknowledgement the surrounding environment and other beach users.

Approved Beach Operators:

• are identifiable
• employ qualified staff who are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked
• are adequately insured
• are accredited with their governing body
• use suitable and safe equipment
• have health and safety procedures in place
• carry a first aid provision
• all approved surf school lead instructors are issued with a photographic ID badge which stipulates the date of validity of their permit. If you are unsure, it is your right to ask to see it.
