Adult Learners' Week 18-24 June 2018

Free taster sessions are being offered by the Lifelong Learning Service to celebrate Adult Learners' Week.

If it is years since you did any learning or you are nervous of joining an adult education class then the Lifelong Learning Service's FREE tasters for Adult Learners' Week could be just the opportunity you have been waiting for.

Joining an adult education class has proven long term benefits: for health - reducing stress, improving essential skills and employability through gaining qualifications and improving skills, helping you become more connected with digital technology and becoming a more active member of your community.

This promotion has now ended.

The tasters will be a great opportunity to try something new, learn new skills, find out what's going on in your area and take that first step back into learning.

Adult Learners' Week is delivered by the Learning and Work Institute with support from the Welsh Government, the European Social Fund and National Lottery Funding. It runs during mid-June, and is Wales's largest and longest running learning campaign. It encourages thousands of adults, whatever their age or background, to give learning a go. There will be over 1000 events held across Wales as part of the week, demonstrating the importance that learning new skills can make to people's daily lives - from taking the first steps back into learning, to improving literacy, numeracy and skills for employment.
