Absolute beginners practical photography

This hands-on workshop is an introduction to digital photography and will help students understand their equipment and basic camera functions.

  • How to get good exposure using auto and semi-automatic settings
  • How to set your camera according to the subject you are photographing such as portraiture, landscape, sports or macro photography
  • How to create a strong composition using simple techniques and understanding basic lighting.

Students will have the opportunity to practice their new skills and gain confidence by going on a field trip, followed by a review of their work.

Suitable for: students new to digital photography and those that have some basic knowledge and would like to gain new skills and improve their photographs.

This class will suit you if you want to learn:

  • How to use your camera's functions, any level camera, not phones
  • How to use auto settings
  • How to compose a good photograph
  • Get out and about on a field trip

No experience necessary.
