Café TwoCann, which operated in SA1's J-Shed for many years, has now launched its new café in the beautiful and historic surroundings of Swansea Council's Glynn Vivian Art Gallery.

The menu includes breakfast, lunch and light bites, plus cakes, afternoon teas, speciality coffees and smoothies.

The council has been looking for a specialist partner to run the catering facility in the gallery which has a busy, high-profile Alexandra Road location due to benefit further from the ongoing city centre regeneration.

Robert Francis-Davies, the council's cabinet member for investment, regeneration and tourism, said: "We want visitors to have first-rate and good value food and drink options matching the unique qualities of the gallery - and we're confident that TwoCann Glynn Vivian will provide that."

Dennis Cann, who owns and runs Café TwoCann with business partner Kate Taylor, said, "We are really excited about being selected to run TwoCann Glynn Vivian, and we look forward to seeing our friends and loyal customers from the days of Café TwoCann in SA1.

"We will, of course, still be operating TwoCann @ St Pauls in Aberavon for our fabulous loyal customers from Neath Port-Talbot and Katering TwoCann which is based on Swansea Enterprise Park; the latter provides catering for weddings, business meetings and customers throughout Gower and south Wales."
