Residents giving valuable feedback on plans for housing estate
Residents living in a Swansea housing estate are giving their views on plans to regenerate the location.
The council has published early plans for the regeneration of Penlan's Heol Emrys and Tudno Place.
The aim is to modernise council properties, build new social rented homes and create a safer community.
The council has worked with consultants Powell Dobson Architects to create the masterplan and is now analysing residents' views. Residents can give further views.
A public exhibition saw residents view the proposals and speak to council officers. The plans are featured online for all to see.
Much of the current design has been developed, taking into account comments made by the residents during an earlier consultation.
Council joint deputy leader Andrea Lewis said: "We're presenting our latest plans to residents. Initial feedback is that they see it as a huge improvement to their community.
"They continue to have the opportunity to be involved in this upgrade to their homes and to ask question about the proposals.
"We'll keep them informed."
