Grants available for school summer holiday food initiatives
Funding is available for organisations supporting families that are struggling with the extra costs over the summer school holiday when they do not have access to free school meals.
Charities, clubs, voluntary organisations and public bodies can apply for up to £2,500 in grants for schemes that support families with school-aged children.
These can be used to provide food packages that can be taken away, local supermarket vouchers, or the provision of good quality food and meals on site.
Applications can be made online by visiting www.swansea.gov.uk/summerholidayfoodfund with a closing date of Wednesday June 26.
