Swansea Association of Governing Bodies (SAGB)

The Swansea Association of Governing Bodies (the Association) was set up many years ago.

The Association meets once per term and some members are chairs of their governing bodies but others are governor representatives. The focus of the Association is to keep up to date with school governance requirements. Officers of the local authority provide updated information at meetings of the Association and sometimes guest speakers are invited to present information to governor representatives at the meetings.

Officers to the Association are appointed annually and all are experienced school governors. Officers would be happy to be contacted to discuss the work of the Swansea Association of Governing Bodies if any governor would like further information or are interested in attending meetings of the Association.
