More dance and comedy stars added to arena line-up

Two more stars have been added to Swansea Arena's line-up for 2022.

Tickets are now on sale for Strictly Come Dancing star Johannes Radebe and comedian Rob Beckett.

Radebe will appear at the venue on Thursday March 24, with Beckett bringing his 'Wallop' tour to the new attraction on Thursday May 12.

The arena - to be run by Ambassador Theatre Group - is one feature of the emerging new £135m Copr Bay phase one district being developed by Swansea Council and advised by development managers RivingtonHark.

Other features of the new district include a 1.1-acre coastal park, new homes, spaces for leisure and hospitality businesses, new car parking and the new bridge over Oystermouth Road.

Construction - being led by Buckingham Group Ltd - will be complete later this year, with the arena due to open in early 2022.
