River trip was great way to make to new friends
Thirty residents have enjoyed a boat trip on the River Tawe to explore the city's history and heritage while also making new friends.

The outing was organised by Swansea Council's Partnership & Involvement Team working with Action For Elders and Swansea Community Boat Trust.
The guided tour on-board the Copper Jack was followed by tea and coffee at The Swigg giving those who attended a chance to socialise while also finding out about activities they can take part in.
Swansea Council's Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care, Mark Child, said: "The aim of the these engagement events is to combat isolation, encourage people to get back out in the community in a safe way and to give people an opportunity to speak with the council and its partners.
"Some of the feedback we had was that the event was very informative and it was a great opportunity to meet new people and build new friendships."
The group will now be meeting at The Swigg in Swansea Marina every Friday between 1pm and 3pm with new comers very welcome.
