Stafford Common

This common is a mosaic of lowland heath and marshy grassland. Part of the site is mown grass with some sports pitches.

The common is approximately 23 hectares in area.

Highlights

Birds including barn owl, whitethroat, mistle thrush, song thrush, stonechat and buzzard have been spotted at the site.

Butterflies/moths such as brimstone, ringlet and beautiful yellow underwing.
