Residential mobile home sites
All mobile home sites must be licensed by the council with relevant planning permission for the whole site.
Each site must also be managed by someone who has passed a 'fit and proper person' test.
Each licensed site will be issued with conditions relating to health, safety and welfare of mobile home owners and occupants.
We can serve compliance notices on site owners where site licence conditions are breached. These notices will say what the site owner needs to do to correct the breaches and timescales to complete the work. If the work is not carried out within the time allowed we are able to carry out the work in default. It is also a criminal offence to fail to comply with the notice.
Each licensed site must deposit their site rules with us including a fee. You are able to view these on the Site rules page where available.

Advice for residential mobile home owners and occupiers
The Welsh Government Know your rights leafletOpens new window explains how the legislation affects you as an owner or occupier.
If you have a problem with your mobile home or need advice you can contact us. We can visit your home to assess any disrepair and work out the best course of action to bring the unit up to a reasonable state of repair. This action will involve contacting the owner of your home and (if a different person) the owner of the site in order to resolve the situation.
