
Once a flourishing sea port Penclawdd was regarded as the bustling commercial centre for much of North Gower. Today the village is still considered to be a fishing and cockling community, proud of its long standing heritage. This walk allows you to enjoy spectacular views over the Loughor estuary and the surrounding countryside.
Directions
• Start at CK's Supermarket
• Head from the car park and turn left using the roadside path until you reach the entrance of the cycle route next to the Gower Timber building
• This walk follows a flat route and can become busy. Please be aware of other walkers and cyclists
• Once you reach the Sea Garden Chinese Restaurant & Bar you have completed 1.6km / 1 mile. At this point turn around and walk
back in the direction you have come from

• In CK's Supermarket there is a coffee shop that serves hot and cold snacks and is an ideal venue to either meet up or stop off after completing the walk
• Pushchair and wheelchair friendly
• A number of benches along the route
• No public toilets along this route
