ParkLives

ParkLives Swansea has arrived!

ParkLives

Park LivesOpens new window, the programme offering free activity sessions in local parks, is launching in Swansea in May 2016, giving locals the chance to join thousands of people across the UK taking part in free and fun outdoor activity sessions.

The Coca-Cola GB funded programme will be led by Swansea Council's Sport and Health team, with activities being delivered across the city by community sport and physical activity clubs and organisations.

Sessions will include everything from basketball to seafront walks and runs, skateboarding, cycling and basketball. What's more, ParkLives activity sessions won't cost local people a thing, proving that being active doesn't need to be expensive.

ParkLives will highlight the important role of local parks as free and easily accessible social hubs of activity in local communities, and bring in the insight and expertise of upskilled local session leaders and volunteers.

Park Lives SwanseaOpens new window programme of activities includes a range of fun and informal activity sessions designed to be welcoming for people of all ages and abilities. The programme is being rolled out in a number of community parks and green spaces including Victoria Park, Brynmill Park, Singleton Park as well as along the Swansea Bay Foreshore.
