Park and Ride

With extended services over Christmas take the fast track into the City Centre with Park Ride at Landore, Fforestfach and Fabian Way.

Park & Ride at Christmas 2011

It costs just £2.50 for all day parking and bus travel for up to 4 people.

Monday - Saturday

Park and Ride will operate from 7.00am - 7.00pm, with buses every 12 or 15 minutes, but increased in frequency between the hours of 10.00am and 6.00pm on Saturdays in late November and in December and on Weekdays in the immediate pre-Christmas period.

Sundays

Park and Ride facilities will run every Sunday from 20th November until 18th December from 9.35am - 5.45pm. 

Services will be suspended on the Sunday 25th, Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th December; with normal operation resuming on Wednesday 28th December 2011.

Park & Ride sites are located at Landore , Fabian Way and Fforestfach respectively.

Landore, Fabian Way and Fforestfach car parks have all received the Secured Car Park Award and in addition to being staffed during opening hours, they have CCTV coverage.

There are frequent bus links to and from the City Centre, operating between 07:00 and 19:00 on Mondays to Saturdays using modern low-floor easy access buses. The services also operate on Sundays in the five weeks prior to Christmas.

There is a £2.50 charge per car which includes all–day parking and return bus travel for up to 4 people. Alternatively, you can purchase a book of Park & Ride vouchers which entitles you to 12 days parking and bus travel for £25.00. Voucher Books can be purchased at the Tourist Information Centre in Plymouth Street and all Park & Ride car parks.

We will always endeavour to run our services according to the timetable. There may be occasions when we are unable to do this; we will always try and inform customers of the reasons for this and wherever possible identify what we can do to avoid problems in the future.

There may be valid reasons why we are unable to rectify a problem immediately but we will always consider what can be done in the future to avoid a repetition of the problem.
