Youngsters' chance to learn from the Ospreys

The centres are each holding ten-week sessions, the first one commencing on the 28 September to introduce youngsters to the basics of the game.

The courses are based on the fundamentals of TAG non contact rugby and endorsed by the Osprey team. They will focus on three main themes of the game - Running and Evasion, Ball Handling and Ball Familiarity, Tagging and Defending. This allows the youngsters to develop their agility, balance and co-ordination which are essential attributes for developing the skills needed for rugby and many other sports.

The sessions have been designed specifically for younger players and there is great emphasis on fun, teamwork and fair play.

This is a fabulous opportunity for young children to have access to first-class coaching and get their first taste of the joys of rugby.

Booking - Courses will be at a price of £30 per child per course PTL -TBC.

Coaching - Sessions are to be taught by qualified Ospreys Community Coaches who are qualified to a minimum of United Kingdom Coaching Certificate (UKCC) Level 1 award.
