PART TIME FLYING START MOBILE CHILDCARE WORKER (2 POSTS)

We are seeking to appoint 2 part time Mobile Childcare Workers, 1 at 18½ hours per week and 1 at 30 hours per week term time only to provide flexible childcare in a range of venues across Swansea in line with need. The successful candidates must be qualified to at least NVQ level 3 in childcare or equivalent and have experience of working in a range of childcare settings. The suitable candidates must be at least 18 years of age. The childcare offered will be of high quality and will focus on children from disadvantaged backgrounds in targeted areas with the overall aim of improving long term outcomes. The provision of childcare is a major component of the Flying Start project that aims to make a decisive difference to the life chances of children under 4 in the areas in which it runs. These posts are initially funded until 31st March 2009.
