The campus is the background for the film which follows the story of an American student, played by James Fears, who visits Swansea to solve a family riddle and ends up meeting Dylan Thomas's ghost. The spirit of Swansea's favourite son is played by 45-year-old Briton Ferry actor Dave Fellows. The film's producer and director Brian Thomas used to work for Disney. Locations for the film include Cwmdonkin Drive, Swansea's seafront and Austin University, Texas, which houses the largest collection of Thomas's writing. Cllr Gibbs said: "I hope that this project will help put Swansea on the map. I wish Mr Singh and all those involved in the production every success." ![]()
