How to obtain copies of Swansea certificates.
The Superintendent Registrar holds registration records for births, deaths and marriages in the district of Swansea from 1837.
If you are able to supply sufficient information to identify the entry that you require, you may apply to us for a copy of that certificate.
By Post - for copies of Swansea certificates you must provide as many details as possible and these requests will be processed within 7 working days.. If you need your certificate urgently a 'by return of post' response service is available at an extra charge of £5 per certificate. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to 'City and County of Swansea'. A fee of 50p to cover postage must be included with payment or a stamped self-addressed envelope supplied, for any certificate to be returned to the applicant by post.
