Transgender information and advice event

SWANSEA'S Brangwyn Hall is set to host the city's first transgender information and advice event on Saturday.

The free event's called Sparkle and features exhibitions and entertainment and is being supported by South Wales Police and Swansea Council.

There will also be professional make up artists giving free makeovers and advice, a comedy duo, music and dance.

The all-day event starts at 11am with evening entertainment beginning at 6pm featuring live acts including the Swinging Blue Jeans. Under 16s to be accompanied by an adult after 7pm.
