Children's Central Advice, Referral and Assessment Team

This team deals with all initial enquiries and referrals relating to children in need, including child protection issues.

Intake Team – Adult Services

This team deals with all initial enquiries and referrals relating to older people and people with a physical or sensory disability.

Emergency Duty Team
This team deals with out-of-hour emergency situations that cannot safely be left until the next working day, and will provide information and advice to keep the situation safe until the next day.

Working hours:

Monday – Thursday                          5.00 pm – 1.00 am

Friday                                              4.30 pm – 1.00 am

Weekends and Bank Holidays           9.00 am – 1.00 am

One person remains on duty from 1.00 am until 9.00 am for the most serious emergencies only.
