Castle sits majestically on the hill in Mumbles with stunning views
overlooking Swansea Bay.
Oystermouth Castle is currently closed for the season. Look out for special events through the autumn and winter though.
The castle will re-open in April 2014.
Opening hours: April – September: 11am – 5pm
Over the summer, people have been able to explore parts of the castle that have been hidden away for centuries, and have learnt about the castle’s exciting history. The castle even had a visit from HRH The Princess Royal in September!
New features in the castle have included private staircases leading from vaults to previous banqueting halls and a 30 foot high glass bridge. Ancient graffiti art dating back from the 14th century is also now visible too.
