Where to fish

The Fendrod Lake
The Fendrod Lake occupies an area of some 13 acres in the heart of the Swansea Enterprise Park. The water contains carp to 20lbs, skimmers to bream of 8lbs, tench to 6lbs, roach to 2lbs together with crucian carp, dace, orfe, perch & rudd. The lake has approx 75 pegs, the vast majority of which are concreted. A small number are also designed for the disabled.

The Half-Round Ponds
These 2 ponds cover a half-acre site some 300yds from the Fendrod Lake. They are situated behind Wyevale Garden Centre and have their own car-park that can be accessed opposite the Macro Cash & Carry store. The waters contain carp to 20lb+, tench to 6lb together with perch, rudd, skimmer bream, brown goldfish and roach. There are currently about 40 concreted pegs and a security gate, but this is open most days through the summer months.

Both of  these waters are run by Brynmill and District AC and the City and County of Swansea.  Day / weekly tickets are available on the bankside from the club bailiffs. Season tickets are available from Mainwarings Tackle Shop, Sketty, Swansea on 01792 202245.

Singleton Boating Lake
This is situated on the west -side of Swansea near to the University. It has about 10-15 pegs with a maximum depth of 1.5m. Suprising carp reside here to 20lb, together with bream & tench to 4lb & roach. Anglers are not allowed to fish here in the summer months when the boats are operating (usually 10am to 6pm).

Clyne Pond
A small water near Blackpill, Swansea on the Clyne Valley cycle path ,with approx room for 8 anglers and depth of water to 3m. Roach are the main species together with the odd rudd, tench & carp.  Worth a visit if you just have a few hours to spare.

Chalet Pond
Also known as the Lily Pond and situated at the NE end of Singleton Park. There's only room for 4 anglers with juniors taking precedence. A good head of small bream, rudd, crucians & carp. Access is by foot from the park entrances on Brynmill Lane or Sketty Road.

The Pluck Pond
Near to the Liberty Stadium development on the fringe of the Enterprise Park. This water has about 18 pegs but is extremely weedy. You'll need to clear a swim before use. It's rarely fished but has some big bream, tench & eels for those looking to put some work in. Quite frankly no one knows what's in there!
