Candidate Sites Assessment Methodology

The Candidate Site Assessment Methodology represents the first stage of the Candidate Sites process.

It aims to provide an indication of the proposed approach in dealing with submitted sites and give interested parties the opportunity to get involved and help shape the process. The Methodology includes criteria to filter out sites that are below a certain size, clearly contrary to national planning policy, or are unsuitably located due to unacceptable constraints.
