Records relating to Mr Iorwerth Clee of Ystalyfera

<D/D X 125/89> Bundle of papers relating to the life and career of Mr Iorwerth Clee, including correspondence, press cuttings and programmes relating to his career as a singer, and to his death. Mr Clee was from Ystalyfera. He sang as a tenor, and moved to London from Ystalyfera in 1947. He sang with the Glyndbourne Opera Company for two seasons, and later with the BBC Singers. He later worked at the Athenaeum Club until his retirement, when he moved back to Ystalyfera. He died in 1984. 1940s-1984
