Cefn Coed Hospital

Published history

<D/D H/CC 1/1> A History of Cefn Coed Hospital (1932-82) by T.G. Davies published in connection with the hospital's 50th anniversary celebrations, 1982. The booklet gives a history of the hospital from its beginnings to 1963 followed by a summary of events 196 3-82. It contains a number of photographs which include the following: (1) Site of hospital before building, exterior of building and aerial view; (2) Interior of hospital showing change in wards between 1932 and present day; (3) Members of staff and persons connected with the running of the hospital, including Alderman William Owen, Chairman of the Visiting Committee, Dr. I. Skottowe (1932-34), Dr. N. Moulson (1934-57) and Dr. T. Riordan (1957-72), medical superintendents. 1982
