Preview Friday 26th September at 7pmUnreliable Truths - Transformation and illusion in contemporary photographic practice Unreliable Truths is a major exhibition which includes the work of some of Wales' leading lens-based practitioners. At the core of the exhibition there is an exploration of the ways in which artists use the medium of photography to challenge, transform and illuminate their chosen subject matter. In this context, the digital age is said to have done away with notions of "truth" and the capturing of "reality"; however the artists in this exhibition illustrate that lens-based practitioners have always challenged and stretched the limits of such narrow definitions. Unreliable Truths is curated by Mark Cocks and John Paul Evans.
