Friends of Parc LlewelynImage depicting The park in the snow

The friends of Parc Llewelyn group are an active and successful group working hard to improve facilities and run events within the park.

Following a local consultation exercise and with support from the City & County of Swansea the 'Friends' are now embarking on the 'Breathing life into Parc Llewelyn project' which has involved several grant applications to improve facilities.

The City & County of Swansea's Parks service have improved some of the tarmac paths and will be installing equipment, and the Parks Development team secured a Tidy Towns grant that has enabled the creation of a boardwalk through the wildlife and wetland area.

The 'Friends' have secured funding from WREN to improve signage and install an adventure trail, an Awards for All grant to develop a website and a Biffaward grant to include the installation of benches, picnic tables and major improvements to the tennis courts.
