The Arts Wing

A contemporary space that hosts exhibitions, conferences and smaller scale music and drama performances.

This new development is the Grand Theatre's latest phased improvement in its new 'Arts Wing', attractively re-furbished in 1930s deco style throughout. Made possible with a Lottery Grant from the Arts Council of Wales, plus monies from private and public sectors, The Arts Wing adds almost 2000 square metres of extra space to the theatre.

The modern and accessible new Box Office is fully equipped to lead us forward into the 21st century and is recognized as not only the theatre's booking office, but as an agency selling tickets for all manner of events and venues throughout the City and beyond.

On the first and second floors two spacious exhibition areas offer a unique opportunity to local - and not so local - artists to display their work.

On the Arts Wing's top floor is the new and dramatic Rooftop Café, Restaurant and Bar with it's own terrace, affording unique views of Swansea. This floor also has its own Studio performance space 'The Depot', offering a host of new and lively attractions to suit all tastes. All floors are accessible via a spectacular spiral staircase and by a passenger lift.
