Rural Swansea Action (Local Action Group)![]() Rural Swansea Action is a new group established to facilitate and deliver partnership activities to implement 'Axis 4' development activities, and chosen activities from RDP Axes 1-3.The Group is a public-private partnership. Initial members have been drawn from the Swansea Rural Development Partnership, or have been recommended due to their specialist skills and experience. The membership of the group aims to reflect the diversity of the area, and draws on existing experience and expertise. Economic and social partners, as well as other civil society representatives make up over 50% of the group. Axis 4 of the RDP is different to the other Axes, as rather than specifying a set of specific activities to be delivered, it is more about developing an approach to rural development, to help encourage networking and mobilisation and delivery of rural development.
