Paying Council Tax

The City and County of Swansea now offers many different methods of paying your Council Tax Bill.

Please decide on the the payment method you wish to use from the list below:

Direct Debit - you will be redirected to a printable Direct Debit form.

Debit/Credit Card

Cash, Cheque, Postal Order

At your Local Post Office or local Payzone.

Pay On-Line - this will take you to the Council's online payment section.

Automated Telephone Payments

Cash payments may also be made at the Council's District Housing Offices (DHOs), these are the opening times and addresses.

PLEASE NOTE; Gorseinon DHO does not accept cash payments but payments can be made in cash at the Post Office directly opposite. A card is required for this purpose that can be obtained from the Council Tax section on 01792 635382.

You should also be aware that failure to pay your Council Tax means that the City and County of Swansea can instigate legal proceedings against you. For details on the procedures open to the Council, please see "Dealing with Arrears - The Recovery Section".
