HousingWelcome to the Housing Services Unit section of this website.The City and County of Swansea manages approximately 13,609 properties through its Housing Services Unit and is one of the largest providers of housing in Wales. We have a mixture of properties - houses, flats, bungalows and sheltered housing schemes for the elderly, mainly clustered on estates all over the Swansea area. We provide the majority of our services through our nine District Housing Offices. Housing advice and information, including homelessness prevention and assessment services are provided by our Housing Options service. We also provide repair and disabled facilties grants and adaptations, deliver improvements in renewal areas and coordinate energy efficiency improvements across Swansea in all housing tenures.
