A report due to go before councillors this week (July 13) shows that schools are enjoying an improved service from the council. But councillors and officers are keen for things to get better still.
Members of the Council's Cabinet are due to be presented with a review of ICT support to the city's schools on Thursday (July 13). Support includes broadband management, internet and email services.
The report states that there has been a successful transfer from Swansea Council's joint working with Neath Port Talbot Council two years ago (Apr 2004) to a new local service for Swansea schools.
Members of the Personal Services Performance Review Board will report that a feedback survey was recommended as part of the report. Results would be expected in December.
