The surf simulator will be one of the many activities at the Swansea Pod such as an interactive area for the public to access the council's website to find out about services as well as enter a competition to win a digital camera.

There will also be a comprehensive Visitor Information Point full of details about what see and do on the Maes and giving information about what the rest of Swansea has to offer. In addition it will provide help and advice for visitors wanting to extend their stay in Swansea or book for a visit later in the year.

Schools and community groups from across Swansea will be performing on the council's stage with four performances staged from 11am to 2pm every day.  A timetable of the performances for the week at the Maes will also be pubished on  the Council's website.

Gower's 50th anniversary as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty will be part of the pavilion and will include details of the travelling exhibition and  events taking place over the summer to celebrate the anniversary.

There will be something for the kids as well with a giant jigsaw puzzle of Three Cliffs Bay. Swansea and Gower's tasty local produce will be on display with free tasters for all to try.

Cultural and tourism venues in Swansea will also be present -- come along and see if you can identify the mystery artefact, you could win a prize!
