Beaches

Swansea has fantastic beaches right on its doorstep

The Gower beaches are famed for their beauty and many have long stretches of golden sand which are ideal for activities like building sandcastles or flying your kite.  There are many watersports available from kite and windsurfing to kayaking, or why not go for a gallop along the sand with one of the local riding schools?
Have a look at www.swansea.gov.uk/outdoor_activities to find activity providers in the area.

Follow the links below to get more information about the beaches in Gower, lifeguard cover and how to register your boat and jetski.  Information about the Summer beach ban on certain beaches for dogs and horses can be found by following the links on the right.
