Tenancy Support Unit

The City and County of Swansea has set up a support unit to provide advice and support to those who need it most.

This service is available to all residents, including tenants of housing associations, local authority or private landlords and even owner occupiers. If you think you, or someone you know, needs support and would benefit from some help and advice, we can match specific support needs with support providers from the Tenancy Support Unit.

Who decides what support I need?

You do.

You will work with your Support Worker to agree a support plan that sets out what you want to achieve. The support plan will say who will do what, how you will get the support, and for how long.

When you and your Support Worker agree that you no longer need support, it will stop and the support will go to someone else who needs it.

How do I access the service?

If you or someone you know needs help to maintain their tenancy/home for whatever reason you can make a referral by simply completing the attached referral form.

We accept self referrals and also referrals from other agencies on behalf of a client who needs support.
