The new Central Library is located within Swansea's Civic Centre (formerly known as County Hall). You'll find thousands of books, music scores, DVDs and CDs to borrow, as well as an amazing children's area. 

The Library has 63 public pc's and free access to the virtual library with a range of useful resources including free access to Ancestry.co.uk. There is a large local history section with a wealth of local information, OS maps and Microfilm. Self service machines are available as well as a state of the art book return system.

You can browse the huge DVD and CD section which contains thousands of choices from classics to new releases. A Discovery room is also available for hire for events that are open to the public and a Pod is available for bookings.
