Bars&Melody1 In addition to the exceptional fireworks display, the event will offer a range of entertainment with music being provided by our radio partner Heart FM.

Stars of Britain's Got Talent will be lighting up the stage this bonfire night in Swansea.

Bars and Melody, a singing and rapping duo who came third in the hit talent show earlier this year, will be performing at the annual Swansea Fireworks Display in St Helen's on Wednesday November 5.

The group is made up of Leondre Devries, a 14-year-old rapper from Port Talbot, and Charlie Lenehan, a 16-year-old singer from Bristol. Before the Britain's Got Talent semi-finals, they were seen by millions of people across the world on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in the USA.

Chris Shalders another great act that we've confirmed to perform at the fireworks. He is a pop / soul singer songwriter originally from Bridgend in South Wales.

Chris has been in London recording his debut solo EP basing his sound influences on artists such as Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, James Morrison and Maroon 5.

Over the past 12 month Chris has worked with the likes of Xenomania (Girls Aloud, Pet Shop Boys, Kylie Minogue) recorded with Gorillaz producer and has just been taken on by one of London's biggest commercial agencies.

Bars&Melody2In addition you'll be treated to a sing along on stage with Elsa and Olaf from Frozen along with a number of walkabout characters. Expect food stalls, free balloon modelling, free face painting and Dylan Thomas Centenary workshops based around lighting.

The Dylan Thomas Centenary workshops will include a light writing digital photography activity, creating illuminated poetry with lights. This will be suitable for people of all ages. The other workshop will be "dingle starry" lantern making workshop for children.

As always, we are keen to promote a fun and safe event.
