Dylan Thomas Centre

The Dylan Thomas Centre is open 10.00am - 4.30pm seven days a week and celebrates Dylan Thomas, Swansea's world famous poet. The building itself is managed by the University of Wales.

Dylan Thomas Centre

The Dylan Thomas Centre is a beautiful building in the Maritime Quarter near to Swansea's museums.

2014 marks the centenary of Dylan Thomas' birth; to celebrate the life and times of Swansea's most famous son, many events will be taking place at the Dylan Thomas Centre and other cultural venues in Swansea throughout the year.

The focal point of celebrations will be the well-established Dylan Thomas Festival, which runs from 27 October to 9 November (the dates of Dylan Thomas' birth and death).

In May, we unveiled our brand new exhibition of never before seen notebooks that Dylan used during the 1930s. Visitors will get a glimpse into the poet's work and can even see a few extracts from his letters.
