What you will need

Equipment for crochet is variety of hooks and yarns. Beginners are advised to use double knit or aran weight yarns, preferable lighter colours to start with to make it easier on the eyes. There are a variety of hooks, but a 4.00 and 5.00 will be needed initially. I will be showing you a variety of different hooks, so that you can decide which suits you - some are easier on the hands if you have joint problems.
