Swansea Business Directory

The 2011 edition of the Swansea Business Directory is now available.

In late November and early December 2011, Burrows Communications Ltd, the Council's current contractors for the Swansea Business Directory, will be contacting local businesses to update their details for inclusion in the 2012 edition. The Directory is currently scheduled for publication in February 2012.

The Swansea Business Directory, published for the Council by Burrows Communications Ltd, provides a practical reference guide to the products, services and contact details of around 2,000 local companies trading in the City and County of Swansea. The directory will be a valuable tool for businesses seeking new customer and supply opportunities as well as residents looking for local suppliers and services. 

The 2011 edition of the Swansea Business Directory is published as a high quality, full colour A4 publication together with a searchable CD-Rom. The CD-ROM contains the same business information as the book, but also includes electronic search facilities accessible through a simple, easy-to-use software package. Further information about the CD is available, including the various upgrade options.

Business information from the Directory, including limited search facilities, is also available via the Swansea Business Directory website hosted by our contractor. The database is constantly updated, so includes information on businesses who have registered since the printed version of the directory was published, as well as any amendments made to existing records.

A list of the business classifications currently included in the Directory is attached. If your business falls under one of these classifications and is located in the City and County of Swansea, but is not currently included in the directory, or if your existing details need to be amended in any way, please contact the publishers via the online database update facility (following the instructions contained in the 'Directory' link). Alternatively, users can complete a database update form which can be faxed or posted to the publishers.

Copies of the 2011 Directory are now available from Business Centre Swansea (St. Mary's Square) and the Council's Contact Centre at the Civic Centre (Oystermouth Road). Reference copies are also available to view at the various branch libraries in the city and county.
