Swansea SCDWP Social Care Training Courses

Details of the training courses offered by the Swansea Social Care Workforce Development Partnership (SCDWP)

It is each individual employer's responsibility to provide staff with the training they need in order to deliver services that meet National Minimum Standards. However, as a Partnership, we aim to support and supplement what employers already provide, by organising and running some free training courses for staff working for independent or voluntary sector employers in the City & County of Swansea area.

You can see a list on the Swansea Social Services online training course booking serviceOpens new window.

There is no need to nominate staff for any of the courses listed. This is because all providers of social care services commissioned by the City & County of Swansea automatically receive an advertising course flyer to their registered email or postal address about 8 weeks before a course is due to start. This gives time to nominate appropriate staff. We confirm if they have been allocated places about 3 - 4 weeks before the course starts.

As long as we have your e mail or postal address, you should receive these advertising flyers regularly. If you do not, or want to check that we have your correct details, or simply want more information about particular courses, contact:
