As you get older, some of those little repairs that need doing can get a bit awkward, particularly if you live alone and have no-one to give you a hand.

They also administer the Welsh Government-funded Rapid Response Adaptations Programme which helps people to return home after being discharged from hospital, or to prevent admission to hospital or residential care.

Poppy Calls

A handyvan serviceOpens new window (run by the British Legion) to help with some of those little jobs around the home.

If you have served in the Forces for at least seven days, or are the dependent of someone who has, and you are in receipt of a means-tested benefit or pension credit, then you may be eligible for Poppy Calls' free handy-person service (run by the British Legion) to help with some of those little jobs around the home.
