Port Eynon Boat and Craft Launching and Registration

A registration/launching scheme for all powered Boats/craft will be introduced at Port Eynon Bay

All powered craft launched in Port Eynon will need to be registered and have valid insurance. Access to the slipway will be managed by a barrier that will be locked and keys issued to those registered with the scheme.

The access lane and vehicle/trailer parking will be managed by the onsite car parking attendant between 8.30 and 4.00pm daily. Where applicable, payments for Park and Launch must be made at the pay and display machine onsite.

There are two options available for users:

1) Port Eynon Boat Club

  • £50 Membership of the Club
  • Inclusive onsite secured vehicle and trailer parking
  • No additional fees for launching
  • Access to the beach via security gate
  • Jet Ski registration available (Limited numbers)

2) Register in advance with City and County of Swansea (Council)

  • £25 one off registration fee (£10 refund on return of security key)
  • Unique Registration stickers for craft and trailer
  • £10 Launch Fees per day
  • Use of public car park for vehicle and trailer £5 per day
  • Access to the beach via security gate
  • Pay online.

Registration will be required for each and every powered Craft/Boat even when owned by the same person.

Please complete the required application for your chosen scheme and return along with the appropriate fee. Administration and processing times vary, so please allow 10 days to receive your registration details and security key before visiting the beach.

The Rules and Regulations for use of boats and craft apply to all users and permission will be withdrawn for non adherence to the rules.
