FIS Training - Sculpture by the Sea

Facilitated by Sara Holden.

Sculpture by the Sea UK run environmental art events and workshops in natural settings, such as beaches and nature reserves. Activities are designed to connect and engage participants of all ages and abilities with nature, enhance creativity and wellbeing, as well as give an environmental awareness.

The one day training, run and trained by artists, is suitable for childcare providers and staff to learn how to confidently incorporate artistic elements into outdoor workshops and use the environment in a creative and imaginative way that will inspire and educate.

Meeting points:

  • Caswell Bay is top of the steps at the side of the cafe before going down to the beach.
  • Bracelet Bay is top of the steps before going down to the beach.

Please note: Appropriate outdoor clothing must be worn and bring a packed lunch for a short break. Sun protection is also advised. There may be car park charges.
