Smoke free school gates

We are asking people not to smoke at school gates as part of the smoke free spaces campaign across Swansea.

Smoke free school gates

By asking people not to smoke at the school gates we hope to highlight the dangers of smoking and help to protect children from the harmful effects of second hand smoke. The voluntary ban is part of a wider programme to discourage young people from smoking in later life, protect them from second-hand smoke and support those who want to give up.

Special signs have been put on the school gates of all primary schools in Swansea asking adults not to smoke.

You can help us by

  • Supporting the voluntary ban
  • Using litter bins provided

Thank you for supporting Swansea smoke free school gates.
