Information to help you prepare for your visit.

Neath Mechanics' Institute

Reader's tickets
In order to see original documents from the collections, you will need to register for an Archive Wales reader's ticket. You can get a ticket on your first visit, but you will need to bring with you proof of identity on either one or two documents which show your name, address and signature.

Security in the searchroom
For reasons of security, coats and bags are not allowed in the study area. Lockers and coat racks are available for your personal belongings.

All our researchers are asked to follow the searchroom rules. They are for the protection of the documents in our care.
