Kevin Crabb  won in the category of 'Best local builder / traditional craftsman' for various schemes in and around the Swansea area while Hale Construction won in the 'Best housing' category for site at Longfields, Bethany Lane.

Swansea also had three schemes taking Highly Commended in the Regional event including Coastal Housing's scheme at Castle Quarter in 'Best social housing / affordable homes' category built by Dawnus Construction also the Health Vision scheme at Morrison Hospital built by BAM Construction in the 'Best public building' category.

As winners of the Regional and the all Wales awards both Hale Construction and Kevin Crabb will represent South Wales in the National awards event being held in London at the end of the year.

The Building Excellence Awards are all about encouraging excellent building practise and our way of rewarding builders who go that bit further.

Swansea Building Control would like to congratulate the winners and all those who were nominated.
