FIS Training - Health, safety and wellbeing training for childcare settings (Management course)

Facilitated by Nikki Davies or Rhian Parry, Public Health Wales

This training is aimed at a responsible person within the organisation who has some responsibility for daily activities such as the organisation's health and safety. It is suitable for team leaders, supervisors and managers.

The aim of the training is to provide an overview of the basic health and safety requirements within your organisation and raise awareness of some lifestyle topics which are of interest.

Some topics to be covered are:

  • Policy
  • Risk assessment
  • RIDDOR
  • Training and engagement
  • Accident and near-miss prevention
  • COSHH
  • Small workplace health awards

Completing this training will provide the delegate with knowledge and understanding of basic health, safety and wellbeing within their organisation.
