FIS Training - Next steps to fun with Welsh

Facilitated by Shelley Rees PACEY Cymru.

Looking for further ways to introduce basic Welsh language through play in your setting? If so, why not join us at the workshop.

In this workshop we extend the use of a range of fun and interactive activities to help registered childcare providers to further develop basic Welsh language skills to use with the children in their setting.

The workshop is suitable for those with little or no Welsh language skills.

Following this workshop you will have an understanding of the importance of Welsh language in supporting children's learning and development and have noted the learning outcomes below:

  • Understand the importance of Welsh language in supporting children's learning and development.
  • Be able to use a range of Welsh language in everyday activities and routines.
  • Understand the principles of the Foundation Phase and Curriculum Cymreig.
  • Reflect on current practice and identify sources of further training and support.
